The cost was very reasonable in comparison to other caterers and the fair price was not at the expense of the quality, as all of the food was delicious and very well-presented. The quality of service, responsiveness, flexibility and professionalism were all fantastic. I can't recall how many emails we sent and calls we made (there we're a lot and I'm sure I came across as annoying), but Pamela and her staff always answered quickly, showed patience for the emails and did all they could to ensure that everything would work out wonderfully, which it did. Planning a wedding always involves a lot of stress, but I think it would have been much worse if we weren't working with a staff that was so committed to the event. They made us feel like our wedding was their main focus even though I know they cater numerous weddings and other events, especially in June when our wedding took place. On the wedding day, they arrived at the venue very early to prepare for everything and coordinate with the other professional staff (i.e.: florist, DJ, bakery, photographer, etc.). We were worried that something would inevitably be forgotten simply due to how busy the day was, but they took care of everything and the end result was fantastic. The waitstaff and bartender werevery polite and seemed well-trained and experienced, but what impressed us the most was that the venue was an old historic mansion and had very minimal and dated kitchen facilities that must have been difficult to use to cook and serve for 115 people, but the staff pulled it off flawlessly. If and when we have another catered event, I would definitely want to use Pamela's again.

I want to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the exceptional job that you all did for my Son's Bar Mitzvah. I especially would like to commend your staff, as they went out of the way to be helpful and were flexible with last minute requests. They accommodated everything asked for during the party, even with that many 13 and 14 year olds dancing to the DJ
You made the planning easy (DJ, set up, etc) and the diverse menu that we designed was fantastic. The food exceeded all of our expectations. This dining experience was topped off with a hit - chocolate fondue at the end of the evening.
I can gauge success by a remark from the toughest critic (my son), when he publicly stated that he "does not know anyway that this could have been a better party." I agree with him and I will be a return customer for other types of parties as well.

Picky TV Crew Loved Pamelas!
Pamela on the Hudson catering is wonderful! I enjoyed my experience of working directly with Pamela when planning my wedding. Every bride wants everything perfect and she understands that. My husband and I had a very laid back wedding but we wanted to make sure that the food and liquor were great. My husband took me to Pamela's resturant for my birthday dinner and it was great. It was a no brainer for us to let them cater our wedding. The staff that pamela supplied us with was nice, accomidating, and fun. Pamela herself came to make sure that we were happy with our experience. Everyone at the wedding loved the food and the staff. My husband said the food was great. I didn't get a chance to eat due to my huge family all wanting to take pictures with me. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone who is having an event. I really wish the resturant was still open so I could go back and have my wedding food every anniversary!

We had the most wonderful time aboard the Pride of the Hudson for our wedding celebration. Your staff was friendly, precise, and well organized. They made the night run picture perfect, and created a well choreographed, upbeat evening. Not to mention, the food was delicious! We have gotten nothing but compliments from our guests - they are still raving about how good the food was! We agree, it was amazing! Speaking of which, we would like to start thinking about another cruise next season for friends and family (minus the wedding), and we would be honored to work with you again to make this happen.

Dear Pam, Stacy, & Staff,
I wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you did catering my father's 70th birthday party. In all likelihood, this will be his last birthday, and the crowd of 124 people was larger than expected. You and your staff handled it with ease. The service and food were both incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and carried on a lively conversation with the "birthday boy." We received nothing but compliments and the highest of praise from everyone who attended. Most importantly, my father thoroughly enjoyed himself saying that it was the best birthday he's ever had. I am so happy that everything turned out as well as it did, and that all of his friends were able to be with him while he was still able to enjoy the day.

I just wanted to say thank you for doing such a fantastic job and making our wedding day so special. Everything went so smoothly, the food was delicious, and the whole thing was just perfect. All of your special touches really made such a difference too. You are simply amazing! The staff was really great as well everyone was! I don’t know how we would have done it without you, and I feel so lucky to have found you. Everything was really perfect. I just wanted to make sure everything was ok on our end and that you and everyone else servers, chefs, bartenders, etc. were happy as well. I wish I could have given everyone a gift for all that they did.

Pamela Resch prepared three Autumn Scallops, (they’re slightly bigger than bay) on a bed of greens topped with a roasted garlic, onion and cranberry marmalade, then sprinkled with chopped cherry peppers. These were on a plate next to a green tea infused sushi rice patty under Szechuan duck confit, and topped with a roasted cumin & cauliflower puree and a ginger-mango relish. Hi Pamela and Staff, I never did get a chance to thank you all for such a wonderful evening 3/14. John was truly surprised for his birthday. My guests had a wonderful time! They loved the food (as did I) as well as the beautiful atmosphere! The service was perfect! All in all we couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. So here I am sitting by the bar, listening to the laughter without knowing the topic, the conversations over one another without knowing who these people are, yet there is comfort being amongst the energy that charges one when they enter Pam's world. How lucky are you to experience such wonder? Hopefully you have had a chance to look out the window and see what people pay money for. It’s yours to enjoy and take in. You have to admit that this place has no turn to its identity. It is about sharing and eating. I am sitting here and an elderly man offered his last piece of pizza, which I tried to decline, but his offering I could not continue to refuse. It really is about the feeling, about the people, the way Pam wants it to be. It is no wonder that people come and feel so comfortable to share food off their plate or buy you a drink. It is magical without the wand. The friendliness of the workers/staff reminds you of an old couch, very warm and welcomed. When you are here you are part of a spiritual tree and extension of roots planted by the expert. Where is she? She is everywhere. She is Pam. How lucky are you?

This is the best we've seen so far!! The caterer Pamela is extremely flexible with how you can customize your menu and her prices are very reasonable. And for just an extra $300, you can rent her entire restaurant out for the night. Awesome! Pamela is very sweet and great to speak with about planning a wedding. She also has great suggestions for details of the wedding (non-catering related as well). The view is great, right on the Hudson River! We also had lunch at the restaurant (my fiancé and I) and the food was mouth wateringly delicious! Great pick for a wedding! ~Nicky (Projectwedding.com)
Hello,
...recently, my boyfriend and I enjoyed one of the best meals we have had in the Hudson valley. We loved the food and wine you have to offer. We eat out at least once a week. We have eaten all across the world. We both have also worked in fine dinning for years. We both have to say Pamela's is our new favorite. The menu was enjoyable, our server (Darnell) was knowledgeable yet not pushy. We enjoyed a three hour meal and did not feel rushed in anyway. We both wanted to say thank you for such an enjoyable evening and we will see you again soon. I will not hesitate to recommend Pamela's to all our friends from the Manhattan to Albany.

We had a very large party at Pamela's last year (over 100 people). I have to say that everything was great. The staff, the food, and Pam...She accommodated us very nicely. Also, the price wasn't crazy either. My guests were raving about it. My husband and I also went back for lunch another day, and it was delicious then too! ~ J.M.

My friend just moved to Pine Bush from Rockland County. I went on Restaurant.com to find a place to celebrate and found Pamela's. (I'm from Morris County, NJ, so don't know anything up your way.) We loved the atmosphere over- looking the water. Hard to find (Pamela talked us through the directions!!), but certainly worth the trek. Food was nice, great bread, beautiful flowers/candles, and the piano was a nice touch. We will be back again! -Mary Ellen

Had the best New Year's Eve in years. The food was excellent! The new CIA chef prepared everything perfectly. Pamela's Restaurant has it all. Great food and a beautiful view. The menu has something for everyone. The food is absolutely delicious. Our search is over! We have finally found a restaurant that has it all! A beautiful view of the Hudson River. Excellent food and wonderful service. Pamela's has a comfortable dining room that is warm and beautiful. Besides a menu with a wide selection of appetizers and entrees, there is an extensive wine list. On the weekends there is entertainment which we have been able to enjoy after finishing our splendid meal! It is our new favorite!- Dave
